Taranis B.V. attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy we want to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.

We do everything to ensure your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. Taranis B.V. adheres to applicable laws and regulations in all cases, including the General Data Protection Regulation. This implies that we at least:

Processing of personal data

Personal data of customers are processed by Taranis B.V. processed for the following purpose (s):

  • Administrative purpose;

  • Communication about the assignment and / or invitations;

  • Executing or issuing an assignment.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • The agreed assignment.

For the above objective (s), Taranis B.V. request the following personal data from you:

  • Your first name and surname;

  • Mail / invoice / delivery addresses;

  • Telephone number;

  • E-mail address;

  • Bank details.

Your personal data is processed by Taranis B.V. stored for the above-mentioned processing (s) during the term of the agreement and thereafter only in the financial administration for a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data of newsletter subscribers

Personal details of newsletter subscribers are processed by Taranis B.V. processed for the following purpose:

  • Informing the person by means of news releases.

The basis for this personal data is:

  • The newsletter registration form.

Taranis B.V. request the following personal data from you:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail address

Your personal information is provided by Taranis B.V. stored for the above-mentioned processing (s) during the period that you are logged in.

Distribution to third parties

We may provide the information that you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party for:

  • Taking care of the (financial) administration;

  • Operational and logistical parties;

  • E-mail marketing

  • IT services

  • Customer research

  • Newsletters and invitations

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. We naturally make the necessary arrangements with these parties (processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the information provided by you to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted. An example of this is that the police requests (personal) data from us in the context of an investigation. In such a case we must cooperate and are therefore obliged to provide this information. Klarna

To offer you the payment options of Klarna, we will provide Klarna with certain personal details, such as contact details and order details. In this way Klarna can assess whether you are eligible for their payment options and the payment options for you. You will find more information in the Klarna terms of use. Your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and in accordance with the information in Klarna's privacy statement.

Within the EU

We do not provide personal data to parties based outside the EU.

Minors

We only process personal data of minors (persons younger than 16 years of age) if written permission has been given by the parent, guardian or legal representative.

Retention period

Taranis B.V. does not store personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or is required by law.

Security

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, for example we have taken the following measures:

  • All individuals who took Taranis B.V. be able to take cognizance of your data;

  • We use a username and password policy on all our systems;

Rights regarding your data

You have the right to inspect, rectify or delete the personal data that we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part of it) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to have the data provided by you transferred by us to yourself or by order of you directly to another party. If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us directly about this. If we cannot find a solution with you, we will of course find this very annoying. You always have the right to submit a complaint to the Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection.
